About Me

I am a consultant ENT/Head and Neck surgeon based in the South East of England with over 15 years experience. I am also a lifelong ENT patient since childhood which shaped my career aspirations. Having had my tonsils and adenoids removed as a child, two mastoid ear operations, functional endoscopic sinus surgery, septoplasty and eustachian tube balloon dilatation for nasal and ear symptoms as an adult, I can empathise with patients with ENT symptoms.
I enjoy travelling, cycling, playing tennis, swimming and spending time with my young family including baking cakes with his wife and 2 beautiful daughters.
I graduated from the University of London and completed a BSc at the University of Leeds in Anatomy, achieving distinctions and first class grades in all of my 6 undergraduate years. I won the ENT medical student prize. I completed a postgraduate Masters degree with Distinction in International Health Management & Leadership from the University of Sheffield. I have won postgraduate prizes including the prestigious annual ENT Masterclass International Conference silver medal for a research project that contributed to national guidelines.
I had tertiary level paediatric ENT training at Great Ormond Street children’s hospitals where I learnt the coblation technique for tonsils and adenoids removal. I completed a prestigious, nationally appointed fellowship at Guy’s hospital in head & neck, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, including robotic surgery.
I led and established the Head & Neck Robotic Programme in Kent. I am academically involved having published over 15 research papers in peer reviewed journals. I am frequently invited to give lectures and as a faculty in courses having organised many courses myself.
