Dear Mr Sharp … Just to send my thanks for the lovely outcome of my op last February. In 6 months since my FESS and septoplasty I’m back to enjoying good health again and have only had one brief episode of sinusitis which settled over a few days with antibiotics. To have regained a good sense of smell has been a wonderful pleasure and to have ceased to awake in the early hours with nasal blockage really great so I can’t thank you enough for your help. Dear Mr Sharp … Just to say that it is a couple of years since you did my operation (reducing bone in my sinuses – can’t remember exactly what it was called!) and that it has been a great success. I am generally healthier and only get ‘normal’ congestion now, rather than every day. Everything is clearer and lighter, and my ears were even better when I last went on an aeroplane! Dear Mr Sharp … I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for giving me my life back following my septoplasty and right endoscopic DCR operation. For years I had suffered with constantly having to have a tissue to hand as I wipe my eye and face as I ‘cried’. Wearing spectacles didn’t help either as I had to keep wiping my lenses as well as my eye to be able to see. I work with members of the public who showed me undeserving sympathy believing I had a reason to cry! Now I can go all day without giving a ‘crying’ eye a thought and tissues are no longer my constant companion. Yours sincerely.

Dear Mr Sharp … It is now almost a year since you performed a bilateral Balloon Eustachian Tuboplasty (BET) on me, and as I understand this was a relatively new procedure, I thought I would give you some feedback on its success. I have for many years suffered intermittent ear blockage throughout the winter. Whenever I bent over to wash my hair, weed the garden, do Pilates etc my eustachian tubes would block, leaving me deaf. Sometimes I would be able to clear them, but often not for several days. This affected my life to the extent that I was unable to enjoy singing, concerts, plays and social engagements because of my deafness. It made me miserable and it seemed as though nothing could be done. Then I was referred to you. When you suggested the BET I was willing to give it a try and I must say it has been a great success! My ears cleared within a few days and since then I have had no blockages at all. What a joy! I have my life back. I would certainly recommend this procedure to anyone suffering from hearing loss due to eustachian tube dysfunction and thank you so much for carrying it out. Yours sincerely.
